Iranian-Armenian trauma-informed, culturally-humble psychologist Dr. Pauline Yeghnazar Peck will break down how much the learning of mental health professionals doesn't fit for immigrants and BIPOC folk. She will outline critical clinical considerations we must attend to in order to serve diverse clients as well as ways that therapy can be adapted in order to meet clients' expressed and unexpressed needs. In learning how to practice with clients from a more decolonial approach, clinicians will learn frameworks and practices for creating more culturally inclusive services for all.
